STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Welcome to Analog Layers. By accessing our website, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. About Our Services

Analog Layers provides custom 3D printing, rapid prototyping, personalized products, product development, and related design services. Services may include manufacturing from customer-provided files as well as designs created by Analog Layers.

2. Orders

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
  • Quotes are valid for the period specified in the quotation.
  • Once production has started, orders cannot be canceled or modified.
  • Analog Layers reserves the right to refuse any order that is unlawful, unsafe, or infringes intellectual property rights.

3. Custom & Personalized Products

  • Custom-made and personalized products are manufactured specifically for each customer.
  • Customers are responsible for verifying names, text, dimensions, colors, and specifications before production begins.
  • Analog Layers is not responsible for errors in customer-approved artwork or specifications.

4. Customer-Supplied Design Files

When providing STL, STEP, OBJ, 3MF, or other CAD files, you confirm that:

  • You own or have permission to use the files.
  • The files do not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property rights.
  • You authorize Analog Layers to manufacture the requested parts.

The customer accepts full responsibility for any legal claims arising from submitted designs.

5. Manufacturing Tolerances

Due to the nature of additive manufacturing:

  • Visible layer lines are a normal characteristic of FDM 3D printing.
  • Minor surface imperfections may occur.
  • Slight color variations between filament batches are normal.
  • Dimensional tolerance is generally ±0.2 mm to ±0.5 mm, depending on the material, printer, and part geometry.

These characteristics are not considered manufacturing defects.

6. Materials

Printed parts may vary in strength, flexibility, and finish depending on the selected material. Customers are responsible for choosing materials suitable for their intended application.

Unless explicitly stated, products are not certified for food contact, medical use, or safety-critical applications.

7. Pricing

Pricing is based on factors including:

  • Material consumption
  • Print time
  • Machine operation
  • Design or CAD work
  • Post-processing
  • Assembly (if applicable)
  • Packaging

Prices may change without prior notice.

8. Payment

  • Full or partial advance payment may be required before production begins.
  • Production starts only after payment confirmation.
  • Orders will be shipped or released only after all outstanding balances have been paid.

9. Shipping & Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees.
  • Analog Layers is not responsible for courier delays, customs delays, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the shipment has been handed over to the shipping carrier, unless otherwise required by law.

10. Returns & Refunds

Because most products are custom manufactured:

  • Personalized and custom products are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where they arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved specifications.
  • Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographs.
  • Approved refunds or replacements will be processed after inspection.

11. Warranty

Analog Layers warrants that products will be free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper installation
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Exposure to excessive heat, chemicals, or UV light
  • Accidental damage
  • Improper storage or handling

12. Intellectual Property

All original designs, logos, branding, product photographs, website content, and marketing materials created by Analog Layers remain the intellectual property of Analog Layers unless otherwise agreed in writing.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Analog Layers' total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected order.

Analog Layers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data arising from the use of our products or services.

14. Privacy

Customer information is collected solely for processing orders, providing customer support, and improving our services. We do not sell customer personal information to third parties.

15. Force Majeure

Analog Layers shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power outages, strikes, government actions, supply chain disruptions, or transportation delays.

16. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
