Return & Exchange Policy
At Analog Layers, we take pride in producing high-quality 3D printed products. Since many of our items are custom-made or personalized, please review our Return & Exchange Policy before placing an order.
Returns
Most of our products are made to order. Therefore:
- Custom, personalized, or made-to-order products cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged, defective, or significantly different from the approved design or product description.
- Non-custom products may be eligible for return within 7 days of delivery, provided they are unused, in their original condition, and returned in the original packaging.
Exchanges
We will gladly replace or exchange an item if:
- The product arrives damaged during shipping.
- You receive the wrong item.
- The product has a manufacturing defect.
- The product differs significantly from the approved design or order details.
Requests for exchanges must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Personalized products
- Custom-designed 3D printed items
- Products manufactured using customer-provided files
- Clearance, discounted, or final sale items
- Products damaged due to misuse, accidents, improper handling, or normal wear and tear
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
- Provide your order number.
Share clear photos of:
- The product
- The packaging
- The shipping label (if applicable)
Our team will review your request and respond as quickly as possible.
Refunds
If a return or exchange request is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Processing time is typically 5–10 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
Return Shipping
- If the return is due to an error by Analog Layers (wrong, damaged, or defective product), we will cover the return shipping costs.
- For eligible customer-initiated returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.
Order Cancellations
- Orders may be canceled before production begins.
- Once a product has entered production, custom and personalized orders cannot be canceled, as they are manufactured specifically for you.
Quality Assurance
Every product is carefully inspected before shipment. Due to the nature of FDM 3D printing:
- Minor layer lines and small surface variations are normal.
- Slight color differences may occur between filament batches.
- Small dimensional tolerances are expected.
These characteristics are not considered manufacturing defects.
